At the wax modeling workshop, participants delve into the intricate process of creating jewellery through wax carving techniques on the first day. You'll learn how to sculpt and shape wax into detailed designs that are then cast in recycled silver. On the second day, usually a week apart, we finish our pieces by filing and polishing. This workshop provides a hands-on experience from concept to finished piece, allowing for personal creativity and expression in crafting unique, sustainable jewellery.

Duration: 2-3 hours (depending on design complexity)
Location: Križevniška 2, Ljubljana - Enter through the big brown door, then the blue door at the end of the atrium, on the right.
When: We set the date and time tailored to your preferences! Usually we start at 4 or 5 pm.
Workshop Agenda:
Gathering + Coffee/Tea: Starting with a chat and a cup of coffee or tea.
Design Selection & Creative Brainstorming: Explore various design options and engage in a creative brainstorming session to bring your vision to life. Please note that we are limited by designs, as it is not possible to implement all ideas for beginners! I will share with you the options that are possible regarding the designs, and you will be able to add your own ideas and details.
Materials and Tools Presentation: Get acquainted with the materials and tools needed for the workshop, ensuring you have everything you need to create your jewellery piece.
Creation: Dive into the creative process as you learn to saw, file, sand, hammer, fire, and polish your silver jewellery under expert guidance. And YES - you can take the jewellery home! :)
What to Expect:
Hands-On Experience: You'll actively participate in every step of the jewellery-making process, from shaping the metal to adding intricate details.
Expert Guidance: I'll be there to guide you through each stage of the workshop, providing demonstrations, tips, and assistance whenever needed.
Safety First: Wear suitable workshop attire (no loose long sleeves), tie back long hair, and remove hand jewellery for safety.
If you cancel up to 3 days before the event, you will receive a 100% refund. If you cancel up to 48 hours before the event, you will receive a 60% refund. If you cancel within 48 hours of the event, no refund will be issued.
